BetaNews | America Online Changes Name to AOL

It's not like we didn't see that coming. AOL should be much more friendlier a name for those outside of the US.

It kind of reminds me of the time when Radio Shack changed their name from TandyCorp to Radio Shack.

Microsoft released an update to their Antispyware software (free) which has since been renamed Windows Defender. This software was purchased from Giant Software and re-branded for Microsoft. It is supposedly going to be built in to Windows Vista (scheduled to be released December 2006).

pmenefee writes 'Japanese car manufacturer Honda has launched a new self-driven car. Dubbed Honda Accord ADAS, the vehicle can change gears and steer itself around bends. While the auto-pilot function will currently only operate on motorways and dual carriageways, officials at Honda believe that future ADAS models will tackle all roads.'
