USATODAY.com - Internet con artists turn to 'vishing'

USA Today is reporting on a new type of danger for unsuspecting Internet users dubbed vishing. Phishing is a term used by scammers who craftily send emails in the guise of coming from a legitimate entity with hyperlinks sending them to copy cat websites asking the users to enter their account information. While phishing is still very alive, users are getting more intelligent as well as the software the users use. Now the scammers are turning to automated phone systems to get the users to give out their account information over the phone rather than over the web.
